This Halloween, step into the strange and mysterious world of LAIKA on this special tour of LAIKA presents WILDWOOD: The Exhibition, exploring how the studio brings the otherworldly to life through stop-motion animation.
From early sketches and visual research to the creation of intricate puppets, costumes, props and miniature sets, this tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the extraordinary design and making processes behind the film.
Taking place just after Wildwood arrives in cinemas and led by curator Hadeel Eltayeb, this tour gives insight into the creative decisions behind the award-winning studio who produced Coraline (2009), ParaNorman (2012) and Kubo and the Two Strings (2016).
This is an unmissable event for designers, makers, creatives, students, film enthusiasts and animation fans.

Hadeel Eltayeb
Hadeel Eltayeb is a curator, writer and researcher. Since joining the Design Museum in 2022, she has worked on major exhibitions including Skateboard (2022-3), The World of Tim Burton (2023-4) and Wes Anderson: The Archives (2025-6). In 2026, she curated the PLATFORM: Simone Brewster exhibition and edited its accompanying publication. She has recently contributed writing to The Funambulist, Disegno and The Architectural Review.
