Fashion Life Drawing with Feben
Join us for an evening life-drawing session in the museum’s iconic atrium, facilitated and styled by celebrated fashion designer Feben, and inspired by a curator-led tour introducing fashion pieces featured in The New Black Aesthetic exhibition.
Priority booking for members.
General sales open on Monday 24 August 2026.
This tutored fashion life-drawing session will be led by fashion designer Feben, who will also dress and style the models in pieces from her archive.
During the event, you will draw models dressed in a variety of outfits, guided by creative prompts. All abilities are welcome, from beginners to professional artists, illustrators and fashion enthusiasts. All materials will be provided.
As part of the session, you will also be able to enjoy a curator tour of the fashion items displayed at The Nue Black Aesthetic exhibition.
The Nue Black Aesthetic is a landmark show celebrating the work of contemporary Black designers reshaping the design industry. Spanning furniture, architecture, fashion and installation, the exhibition unpacks the multifaceted practices of designers who draw from identity and culture, build community and those who are redefining design systems far beyond the Black community.
This event is wheelchair accessible, with step-free access throughout the museum.
Facilitator
Feben is an Ethiopian designer who grew up in Sweden, based in London where she founded her brand, after completing her studies at Central Saint Martins MA as an Isabella Blow Scholar. Feben takes inspiration and influences from all over the world. Imbued with a surrealist allure, her designs seamlessly merge matter and form, creating optical illusions that manifest as a blend of distinctive silhouettes and vibrant and intense prints.
