The Film
The current Design Museum exhibition Electronic: From Kraftwerk to The Chemical Brothers tells stories of some of the rebels & mavericks who helped build the world of electronic music, but who are the creatives shaping today's scene and moving it forward?
Figures from some of London’s favourite record labels, music groups and DJs, explore the exhibition and reflect on their relationship with electronic music, claiming museum spaces and life in lockdown.
The film has been created in collaboration with creative studio Play Nice.

Starring
Mali Larrington-Nelson AKA Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets and productions. Having started off DJing on pirate radio at 13 years old, she has been exposed to and influenced by the full spectrum of sounds her hometown of London has birthed and nurtured over the years.
As DJ/broadcaster, curator, ex-Boiler Room host and founder of steadily rising, South London-based musical movement (club night, concert series, record label and radio show), Touching Bass, Errol Anderson has become one of UK music’s most quietly respected figures nurturing one of London's favourite grassroots platforms.
Tash LC has established herself as a DJ, Record Label Founder, Promotor and Radio/Television Presenter across media and club mediums. With residencies on Worldwide FM and an upcoming weekly Sunday night slot on Kiss FM, she balances afro-jazz and highlife broadcasts with Kuduro, Dancehall, Gqom, and esoteric club sounds from across the globe.
Co-host of the Bone Soda show with guests including Channel Tres, Slowthai and Ama Lou. Tommy has also commanded sets for Nike, Carhartt, Dover Street Market and Acne Studios. He holds a residency at Phonox called Mantra - a night that pays tribute to global hip hop whilst also shining a light on London’s diverse music scene.

Play Nice is a creative studio building intersections between communities & entities, in a time when it is needed most. Their work has included a design-led project with the UKSCN, which was nominated for a Beazley Designs of the Year 2019 and visual identity & branding for Black Minds Matter.
