Collection Lab

Collection Lab is a conversation about design that evolved over 2014 and 2015. By taking part in this display, visitors helped shape the Design Museum’s Permanent Collection exhibition, that will be free to visit in the museum’s new home in Kensington in 2016.

What was the display about?

By pairing 35 objects from the Design Museum collection, this display invited visitors to explore some of the key issues and ideas about design, introducing the concept of design through a new look at objects from the Design Museum collection to explore the relationship between designers, manufacturers and you.
