Responding to the challenge of reimagining the humble birdhouse, the display brings together a feast of materials, shapes and concepts. Each creates a space for our feathered friends to live in, and for humans to reflect upon.

An off-site installation from the Design Museum’s Future Observatory research programme. The Stone Demonstrator is a low-carbon construction prototype, which puts pre-tensioned stone building techniques to the test. <p> _Please note, this installation is not hosted at the Design Museum. It is located at Empress Place, at the Earls Court Development site, open to visit from 9:00 to 17:00_
