Poster Printing Workshop

Join a hands-on workshop to design and print your own vintage poster working with traditional lino cutting techniques.

What to expect

Join us for a day of creative inspiration including a visit to 'Football: Designing the Beautiful Game' to discover the fascinating imagery featured in the exhibition and learn how to create your own lino printed poster.

In this practical workshop, you will have the opportunity to work on a three to four colour reduction lino print onto paper using graphics, text or patterns to develop a unique piece.

Get ready to create your own design based on your favourite hobbies, sports, icons or graphics that you would like to work with.

Reduction lino printing is a complex design task, requiring the maker to consider colour, composition and layering. The class will break down this process and build your confidence in design and printing skills. You will take home a finished poster and sample tests.
