In this creative workshop, young people will be taught how to create their own poster using the technique of lino-cutting. They will learn how to make a series of graphic lino blocks and create a repeat pattern to carve a beautiful drawing.
This workshop will teach the skills to carry on lino printing at home.
What they will learn:
Lino cutting and carving
Print design
Pattern repeats
Please note that all equipment, materials and light refreshments will be provided for the duration of the session, but you must bring a packed lunch.
Facilitator
Bosson is a print and product designer specialising in textiles. Her collections combine hand screen printed textiles and timber products with quilting and embroidery. Bosson's creative process is craft-led with drawing and paper stencil screen prints and she is inspired by finding patterns in unexpected places she seeks to create a fresh and contemporary yet timeless aesthetic.
