Join a British Sign Language Tour of the exhibition 'Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design 1924 – Today' for D/deaf visitors.
#ObjectsOfDesire
Join tourguide Edward Richards for a British Sign Language tour of Objects of Desire, a celebration of the central role of design within the Surrealist movement. Focusing on key design pieces and artworks from 1924 and beyond, this tour will explore how one of the 20th century's most influential movements came to impact design through its questioning of the conventional and its commitment to exploring the mind, unconscious and mystical, and how designers continue to uphold this ethos today.
Free event. Pre-booking required.
Entry to the exhibition will be reduced at this time for relaxed hours access.
Please ensure you only book if you definitely plan to attend and cancel your booking in advance if your availability changes. If you are no longer able to attend, we ask that you contact the booking office to cancel your booking.
The tour is not translated from BSL. Please note due to limited capacity, this tour is not available for students of British Sign Language.
